Brian C. Becker, Ph.D.

The founder of Precision Economics, Dr. Brian C. Becker has served as an economic expert witness and consultant for more than 25 years, with a focus on transfer pricing and valuation matters. Dr. Becker has provided an opinion for court in a number of transfer pricing disputes, including Abbott Labs, Boston Scientific (Guidant), Chevron, CIBC, Coca-Cola, General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Glencore (Xstrata), McKesson, Medtronic, Nortel, Pfizer (Wyeth), Ricoh, Roche, and SNF. In intellectual property, commercial damages, international trade, and antitrust matters; Dr. Becker has provided expert reports and testimony involving Bank of America, Exxon, Kodak, Nestle (Gerber), The Travelers Companies, and Teva Pharmaceuticals. In these and other matters, he has served as an economic expert for multinational companies and the Governments of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States. Also serving as a Visiting Professor of Finance and Statistics during this time, Dr. Becker earned his Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. He currently holds Board positions with the Mathematical Association of America and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.
