INTERNATIONAL TRADE

U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) : Department of Commerce (DOC) : Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT)

Our focus in the international trade area is in anti-dumping (AD), where we have performed economic analyses in matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT). Our work in such matters has typically involved critiquing the imposition of countervailing duties (CVD) and anti-dumping duties assessed under U.S. international trade law (Section 337). In addition, we have assisted in valuations in matters before the U.S. Customs & Border Protection agency.

Precision Economics' international trade consultants have testified before both the U.S. International Trade Commission and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal regarding anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties. Our economists have also authored "White Papers;" on specific topics related to international trade law Section 337 practice.

Representative dumping cases where Precision economists have testified include:

  • Baby Food: Canadian International Trade Tribunal Testimony for Respondents (United States, Gerber).
