Alan Salzberg is Senior Statistician and CEO of Analysis & Inference. Dr. Salzberg's focus is statistical sample design, quantitative estimation, and statistical inference, especially using large or complex datasets. Many of Dr. Salzberg's consulting projects and research papers have related to the detection and measurement of bias. Prior to joining Analysis & Inference, Dr. Salzberg founded Quantitative Analysis, Inc., a statistical consulting company. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager at KPMG LLP in their Economic Consulting group. Dr. Salzberg holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also received a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
